We asked the new Business & Career Librarian Michael Schor for an update on the library and here’s what he said, “We held out 3rd program in ASU Startup School series last night. Thanks to Roberta’s press releases and word of mouth, attendance is increasing. SCORE mentors continue to meet with people every Saturday and I’m looking forward to starting their seminars in January. Also, some great news! In the first week of December we’ll be having the first round of renovations in the IDEA Center. This will include removing shelving from the closet and converting it to our digital media creation room, drywall repairs in the room and well as a fresh coat of paint and hanging our new projector screen whiteboards. A few days after this is completed, we’ll add in the books and soon have the space open to the public for a “soft launch”. I’ll send you some more information when we have a date for the grand opening celebration/ribbon cutting ceremony.” Sounds exciting, Michael, and we look forward to all of the new spaces and services for entrepreneurs and job seekers!
