Welcome to the Friends of the Glendale (AZ) Public Library.
Who we are:
The “Friends of Glendale Public Library” is a non-profit, grassroots membership group dedicated to promoting Glendale’s library system, an essential institution of our community. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library and its patrons.

What we do:
The Friends raise funds to be used by the library for activities not ordinarily covered under the library’s operating budget. In these fiscally challenging times it is vital that a community resource such as the library has the support to aid in finding jobs, provide educational assistance to our youth, and promote literacy to all.
